This is how connected, motivated, and invested employees feel in their work and the organization they work for. GSIC 2026 found employee engagement is the top strategic goal for internal communicators this year, ahead of leadership communication, which makes sense given it’s the outcome most internal communications strategy ultimately exists to influence.
