How Timezone Sending Working with ContactMonkey
Timezone Sending is built on ContactMonkey’s List Management feature.
Here’s how to take advantage of the feature:
1. When scheduling an email, simply choose your desired date and time, and toggle on “Send in your recipients’ timezones”:
The system will then automatically adjust the delivery time for each recipient based on their local time zone.
Additionally, the Sent Table allows you to monitor campaigns that are in progress or have been sent:
2. In the Analytics dashboard, a new “Sending Type” column indicates whether an email was sent using Timezone, Scheduled, or Immediate sending:
Getting Started with Timezone Sending
Timezone Sending is available to Enterprise customers and organizations that have purchased List Management.
Setup
- Ensure the “Timezone” attribute is added to your directory in settings.
- Wait for the nightly sync to complete.
The feature will be available for use the next day.
Limitations
- Currently, Timezone Sending is only available for add-in users.
- Social sharing is disabled for Timezone Sends.
- Overall tracking is not available; only Individual and Anonymous tracking are supported.
