Introducing Resend Emails: Reach the People Who Missed Your Message

Internal communicators know that sending a message is only part one of the job. The harder part is making sure it lands, and when an important email goes unopened, the follow-up has always required more effort than it should.

Until now, reaching the people who missed a benefits deadline or a policy update meant exporting a list of unopened recipients, re-importing it, and rebuilding the campaign from scratch. The process was slow, it invited errors, and it discouraged teams from following up at all.

Resend Emails removes that friction, and now, internal communicators can resend any previously sent email directly from your Sent Emails library, either to everyone who received it or only to the people who did not open it, without rebuilding anything.

How it works

Resend Emails lives inside the Sent Emails library you already use. From the Actions menu, or from an email’s report page, you select Resend Email and a slideover panel opens with the whole flow in one place. There is no draft step and no separate campaign to assemble. You choose your audience, either the same recipients as the original send or only those who have not opened it, and you can update the subject line and preview text if you want to reframe the message.

Once you’re ready, you click Send Now and the email goes out immediately.

Because the entire flow happens in a single panel, a follow-up that used to take several manual steps now takes a couple of clicks, and the message you worked hard to craft goes back out exactly as you built it.

Where it helps most

Resend Emails is built for the moments when a message needs to reach everyone. For example:

  • Global and shift-based workforces – A message sent in the morning for one region lands in the middle of the night for another, so resending the same email at a better local hour helps communicators reach dispersed and deskless teams when they are actually available to read.
  • High-priority leadership messages – When a restructuring update, an acquisition announcement, or a CEO note needs maximum visibility, a second send reinforces the message for the full audience rather than leaving reach to chance.
  • Time-sensitive reminders with universal relevance – Payroll changes, office closures, and system outages affect everyone, and a full resend closer to the moment keeps the information current for the whole organization.

In each of these cases the value is the same. You can respond to what your open data is telling you in the moment, rather than deciding that the follow-up is more trouble than it is worth.

Getting started

Resend Emails is enabled automatically for customers, so there is nothing to set up. The next time an important message deserves a second look, open your Sent Emails library, choose Resend Email, and reach the people who need to see it.
